Telford Mann is a newly formed financial services company, established to extend the offering of a long-standing accountancy firm. As a new venture, it needed to project trust, reliability and warmth to appeal to both new prospects and existing clients seeking financial planning support.



Speed was brought in to help define and apply a brand identity that would reflect the company’s professional, proactive ethos. Our role focused on shaping the visual and verbal expression of the brand, and developing key supporting assets to ensure consistency across digital and physical touchpoints. The client also needed engaging content to explain services clearly to a wide audience.

We conducted a strategic brand workshop to uncover the core values and cultural characteristics of the business. From this, we shaped a brand direction centred on the ‘worker bee’ concept, symbolising diligence, teamwork and financial growth. This idea was brought to life through a honeycomb-inspired visual system, with subtle hexagonal elements incorporated into the logo and wider identity.
We also led a website workshop to help define user stories, journeys and tone of voice, supporting the client’s development team with design and content structure recommendations. In addition, we storyboarded, designed and animated a suite of explainer videos tailored to different life stages to make financial services more accessible and engaging.


The website was designed and built using WordPress, with a tailored user experience based on customer journeys. Our work included UX design, content architecture, responsive development and video production, creating a platform that is easy to manage and designed to convert.
The brand application embraced a strong conceptual narrative, the hive, to symbolise the company’s efficient, collaborative approach to wealth management. This theme translated into visual assets and subtle animations that gave the site a distinct yet professional character. Combined with animated explainer videos, the platform delivers clarity across complex financial products in a highly engaging format.
