Following our rebrand work for this income protection provider, Holloway Friendly asked us to help them increase their engagement with financial advisors. They wanted to digitally transform how they engaged with advisors on a day to day basis.

We designed and built an online sales and marketing hub to support advisors’ sales goals and their continued professional development.

Our Solution

We planned and scoped a multimedia hub called Kaleidoscope. Transforming and improving interactions, we gave advisors a dedicated portal for a wide range of content; supporting them to build sales campaigns, assess industry trends, access sales training and gain Continuous Professional Development.

Presenting information, views, videos and news, Kaleidoscope is an easy to use and content-rich platform. It not only helps advisers grow their knowledge of income protection but shares tips and strategies to grow their client base, build their skills and service their clients better.

Email alerts are sent to notify advisors of new content. Holloway Friendly can track usage and levels of engagement to ensure they are giving the advisors what they need.

The client was a new financial services company, created to support clients of an established accountancy firm. It needed to create a reassuring, trustworthy brand for new and existing customers.

Our Solution

We ran an in-depth strategic brand workshop to get to the heart of the company’s approach and offer. We discovered that the culture was hard-working and highly successful at cultivating clients’ funds.

Our creative direction and brand positioning built on this proactive ‘worker bee’ offering, by embracing a beehive and honeycomb effect – with subtle hexagonal assets applied to the brand logo.

We carried out a website workshop to understand user stories and user flows designing and building a WordPress website to encourage lead generation.

Storyboarding, designing and animating a series of videos was an important channel. These communicate products and services in an easy to understand format, tailored for various different life stages.

Result

The client was delighted with the resulting brand identity, which created a professional image that was both welcoming and creative.

The new look and feel was applied across the company’s website, printed materials and all customer-facing documents, creating a cohesive, high quality experience for customers.

As a creative and tech agency we have established a great partnership with the brand, with aligning passions for anything digital and innovative. For more than a year we have been designing and building all digital marketing communications for comparethemarket customers.

Our Solution

All comparethemarket marketing communications are integrated with a Customer Relationship Management system with a series of different email types depending on purpose. Typical emails include purchase reminders, product updates and cross-selling opportunities.

We started by developing a series of high-impact email templates in HTML/CSS. Each month Speed designs and manages a series of emails in line with an agreed calendar. By tracking a series of analytics we test, tweak and evolve the digital marketing strategy to deliver the best possible impact and sales.

Result

Multiple tailored weekly emails hitting over 1 million inboxes resulting in increased redemptions and improved brand engagement across a wide range of different customer profiles.

Holloway Friendly are the original creators of income protection – a form of insurance that pays an income if you are unable to work due to illness and injury. The brand had fallen behind the competition and needed to reposition itself to grow market share. A strategic brand refresh was needed.

Working with a longstanding financial marketing partner, we hosted workshops with stakeholders from the organisation to explore what made Holloway Friendly unique in its market.

The workshops set a clear direction for the brand and creative approach – to play on Holloway’s role as a pioneer, and how its products help clients get on with their lives, even when the unexpected happens.

The overarching brand proposition of ‘keeping life colourful’ delivers on the fact that through its products and services, Holloway keeps life on track. This inspired an eye-catching multi-coloured brand identity and logo with a fresh, bright website redesign.

The new branding was then applied to a wide range of internal and external collateral for total consistency.

Result

Following the rebrand, Holloway Friendly rose two places to become the UK’s sixth biggest income protection provider. Its new business increased by 82% and there was a 40% growth in net membership.
