Royal HaskoningDHV is an independent consulting engineering company, that’s dedicated to creating a positive impact on people and the planet. With over 6,000 colleagues from offices in 20 countries, it tackles challenges from climate change and digital transformation to the energy transition.

The Brief

As a longstanding client of ours, Royal HaskoningDHV sought our help in refining its message to attract and retain employees.
With digital expertise central to its services for clients, Royal HaskoningDHV is always looking for people with technology and data skill sets, alongside more traditional engineering and project management expertise.

The Result

We worked in close partnership with the client to develop a strategic Employee Value Proposition that embodied the company’s values and vision.

Our internal campaign captured employee attention and became a positive talking point.

We generated excellent interaction and visibility with a LinkedIn campaign, and the recruitment campaign attracted many high quality applications to roles within the company.

What We Did

We worked closely with the client to develop a strategic Employee Value Proposition, that brings to life the company’s values and vision. Its focus is on enhancing society and tackling the world’s biggest challenges.

As part of this, we devised an internal campaign to motivate and engage employees, with a ‘Did you know?’ theme, focusing on elements with wide appeal – including the importance of flexibility and challenge at work.

We then created an extensive LinkedIn campaign to present Royal HaskoningDHV as a great company to work for, by profiling real people and sharing their own words. Our work then evolved into a recruitment campaign to attract new talent into the organisation.

Innovative Solution

Instead of relying on abstract messaging or corporate language, we grounded the EVP in real experiences and relatable stories. By building from the inside out, we ensured the brand promise was both authentic and credible.

The ‘Did you know?’ format allowed for an engaging, conversational tone that could adapt to different content themes and audience types. It offered the flexibility to grow over time while staying rooted in the core message.

By combining strategic storytelling with employee-led content, we helped Royal HaskoningDHV present a unified and human employer brand, one that supported internal engagement and external recruitment through a consistent and meaningful narrative.
