Vehicle tracking specialist ABAX saw an opportunity to connect with its customers, and asked Speed for expert help. After an ABAX survey revealed a lack of understanding around claiming business mileage, and especially tax implications. The brand wanted to broadcast that its product, the ABAX Triplog, protects both clients and employees to save time and money.

Working closely with the ABAX team, Speed Agency created the campaign ‘Know ABAX, Know the Rules’. The creative centred on maximising the strapline and the brand’s presence in the world of football, using the theme of “not being offside”. A tongue-in-cheek slo-mo video was also produced, showing the effects of ‘unexpected penalties’ on the unprepared. The film was designed to drive engagement, alongside trade press promotions, digital advertising and radio promotions, to create an integrated campaign.

The client was delighted with the results and noted a significant uplift in contact from both new and existing customers. The work has since led on to more projects between Speed and ABAX.
