Job description

We are currently working to bring in Agile Project Management Methodologies, which means we will require a new Agile Product Manager to work on a range of website and software projects.


Day to Day Tasks

As we progress into Agile working, you will be able to fully embrace the tasks within your APM role and responsibilities, which are outlined below:

Be the main point of contact on your allocated Accounts and Projects for all decisions concerning the product/project and as such be empowered to perform the related responsibilities.

  • Ensuring that the software/web product vision and goals are adhered to
  • Developing product/project scopes
  • Developing product/project plans
  • Determining which methodology to employ
  • Documenting user stories or requirements for the project
  • Developing a Features Scope Document
  • Evaluating and making decisions on all scope related issues
  • Maintaining and updating the product backlog on a continuous basis by:
    • refining new requirements
    • removing requirements that fall out of scope
    • adding new requirements identified as being required to achieve the software / web product goals
    • reviewing and setting the priorities assigned to the product backlog and heading up all project planning meetings
  • Writing briefs and conduct briefings – creative and dev
  • Resolving any project disputes/issues/queries across the internal teams

As well as

  • Understand the existing Speed systems and processes and follow them, always use the Speed templates
  • Develop relationships with all your colleagues and understand what they do, so they can help you do your job and you can understand what you can do to support them
  • Understand how to schedule in different project types in and how to work with Studio Manager and how to liaise with your colleagues to keep the schedule up to date and projects on track
  • Write client-facing Contact Reports and Emails accurately and to a high standard
  • Attend client meetings and write up Contact Reports and develop Project Plans
  • Liaise with your Account Lead to make sure they are kept up to date and copied into all client communications.
